Privacy Policy

TapLog ("we", "us") builds a motion-sensing glove and companion app for tracking workouts. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it, both today on this waitlist site and once the app and glove are live.

What we collect today

Right now, TapLog is pre-launch. The only information we collect through this website is the email address you submit to join the waitlist. We use it solely to contact you about launch updates and early access, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

What the app and glove will collect

Once live, the TapLog app and glove will process motion data from your hand (via the glove's sensor) to detect exercises, count reps, and analyze form. This will include:

  • Motion and movement data captured during your workouts
  • Workout logs, including exercises, sets, reps, and tempo
  • Account information (such as email) if you create an account
  • Device information needed to connect the app and glove over Bluetooth

Workout and motion data is used to power the app's core features: exercise detection, rep counting, form feedback, and recovery insights. It is not sold to third parties.

Data retention and control

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing TaplogFitness@outlook.com.

Changes to this policy

As TapLog moves from waitlist to launch, this policy will be updated to reflect our finalized data practices ahead of the app becoming available. We'll update the date above whenever that happens.
